The final unread devlog?
By which I mean, this is likely to be the final time I update this project without looking back and reading it.
It has been a success as far as getting me to put some game writing out there without getting in my own way as much. And it appears that a non-zero number of people have read it. I can't express how much I really appreciate that.
With December being the month of too many things I was only able to put together a single table of suggested complications to draw from with you need big trouble to happen in your game. So it seems I am at the point where I need to think about a regular project for a bit.
If you see another dev log on this experiment it will most likely be because I have come back to read my own work, and actually decided to try and turn it into something more complete. If, however, you are reading this far in the future and I've never added anything, then send me a message. It would be so exciting to hear about someone reading this weird experiment after I've forgotten it.
I would especially love to hear if you use any part of this at your own table and if you had fun with them. The ideas felt fun when I wrote them down.
Until we meet again, on this project or the next. May you receive kindness, and give kindness in return.
Take care,
Jason
